What is SEO?

SEO stands for search engine optimization, which helps in the visibility of sites and positioning in search results.

Seo is a technique for:

  • Improving the quality & quantity of a website from search engines.
  • It improves the trustworthiness of search engines.
  • It targets organic traffic rather than direct or paid traffic.

Importance of SEO:

Search engine optimization is one of the most important aspects of online marketing, and it is something that all businesses should be investing in. There are a number of reasons why SEO is so important, but the most important ones are that it can help you to attract more visitors to your site, and it can also help you to rank higher in the search engines.

There are several different ways to optimize your site for search engines, but the most important thing is to ensure that your content is relevant and keyword-rich. You should also make sure that your site is easy to navigate and that your pages load quickly.

If you are not sure how to optimize your site for search engines, then you may want to consider hiring an SEO consultant. These consultants will be able to help you to select the right keywords and to ensure that your site is as search-engine friendly as possible.

If you are not willing to invest in an SEO consultant, then you can still do a lot.

An update services setting is one of them:

Before explaining update services, you should know that is indexing and how you can index your website.

What is Indexing?

Google’s search engine uses a complex algorithm to index websites and determines which results to show for a given search query. This algorithm takes into account many factors, including the website’s content, backlinks, and more.

The process of indexing a website begins with Google’s web crawlers. These crawlers visit websites and follow links to other websites. As they crawl the web, they index any new or updated content they find. This indexing process can take some time, and there is no guarantee that all of your website’s content will be indexed.

If you want to ensure that Google indexes your website, you can submit a sitemap on the google search console.
But if you are making these changes or settings on WordPress, you may not need to submit any sitemap on the search console.

Note: sitemap is really an excellent method to notify the changes or updates going on on websites.

If you’re using WordPress you must go through all the small SEO settings.

We always ignore small things, by looking at big ones. But these small settings can majorly impact your website.

What is the update services setting:

Note: When you publish a new post, WordPress automatically notifies the following site update services.
Update Services are tools you can use to let other people know you’ve updated your blog.
WordPress automatically notifies popular Update Services that you’ve updated your blog by sending an XML-RPC ping each time you create or update a post. In turn, Update Services process the ping and updates their proprietary indices with your update.

But there is a problem, WordPress provide only one ping (one search engine), so it is always advised to update all the pings, which is given below

All 44 sites… CLICK HERE

These all pings notify all the search engines when you update, change or post something on the website.

Follow these steps to make changes in WordPress:

Step1: Login to your WordPress dashboard.

Step2: Scroll down and you can find the SETTING button in the left panel.

Step3: After clicking the SETTING button you can find the WRITING button just down.

Step4: After clicking the WRITING button you can find all the settings related to writing, just scroll down where you have and you can find the UPDATE SERVICES setting.

Just put all the 44 sites in the container box and save the changes.
